Police have said that a 59-year-old man from Xewkija was seriously injured in a accident at a construction site in Nadur.

The accident happened in Triq San Blas at around 12.50pm on Wednesday, when the man fell from a ladder on the site and knocked his head.

The injured man was taken by private car to the Gozo General Hospital, Police said.

A Magisterial Inquiry in underway. Police investigations are ongoing.
