Way of the Cross - GhajnsielemGhaqda Drammatika Ghajnsielem has advised that because of the latest developments with the Covid-19 virus, it has cancelled two of the planned Lent and Easter events; the representation of the Passion and the Last Supper, on the 5th, 9th and 10th of April.

At the present time the Way of the Cross is remaining open because it is something that can be visited individually, the NGO said.

Way of the Cross

A traditional and a modern “Way of the Cross” has been opened at Ta’ Passi fields – the location of the Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem activity.

This will be open every day, until the 12th of April (Easter Sunday). This innovative initiative gives the opportunity for everyone to mediate the Way of the Cross throughout the Lent period.

Ghaqda Drammatika Ghajnsielem explained that the Way of the Cross has been constructed from recycled materials such as wooden pallets.
