38 fined for being in groups of more than 3 and 1 snack bar fined

During Police patrols 38 people were fined €100 each for being in groups of more than 3 individuals gathered in public places.
No one was found breaking the obligatory quarantine during the 517 inspections carried out across Malta and Gozo in the last 24 hours, Police said.
While tomorrow is a public holiday, Police said that they would like to reiterate the appeal that everyone should remain responsible and cooperate with the directives being issued by the authorities.
A snack bar at San Pawl il-Bahar was found open serving clients during inspections by the MTA and was fined €3,000 for breaking the regulations. In all, 1,950 inspections were carried out in the Maltese islands, during the past 24-hours
