20 people have each been fined €100 during Police patrols that the are carrying out to ensure that there are no groups of more than 3 persons in public places.

Police found no one breaking the obligatory quarantine during the 589 inspections carried out in the last 24 hours.

It said that the authorities have done more than twenty thousand inspections since obligatory quarantine started being enforced.

The authorities reiterated the appeal for everyone to be responsible and cooperate with the directives being issued.
