A record number of 124 people have each been fined €100 by Police in the last 24-hours for being in groups of more than 3 in public places. More than 200 fines have been issued in total over the weekend.
Police and Environmental Health Officers said that no one was found breaking obligatory quarantine during the 309 inspections carried out over the same period.
