120 books worth €3,200 have been presented to the Central Public Library in St Francis Square, Victoria, as part of the Ministry for Gozo’s annual book contribution.

Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri said that every year the Ministry commemorates World Book and Copyright Day, which is celebrated on the 23rd of April, by buying books to encourage more people to read, and these will be available for the public to borrow as soon as libraries re-open.

Books are purchased every year by the Ministry for Gozo through the Eco-Gozo Directorate for libraries and schools.
