Work on Marsalforn Police Station in final stages at a cost of €130,000

Work on the Marsalforn Police Station is now in the final stages, through an investment of €130,000, the Ministry for Gozo has said.

It said that, everything is due to be completed within a few months, and will provide a better service to both residents and the thousands who visit the locality, especially during the summer.

Minister for Home Affairs, National Security and Law Enforcement Byron Camilleri and Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri, during a site visit, were able to see for themselves the advanced stage of work.

They expressed satisfaction that the Station will also be fully accessible for persons with disabilities due to the installation of a lift. Other works include improving the infrastructure and investment in technology.

Minister Byron Camilleri explained that the Police Force is also investing in its resources in Gozo. “Our vision is for more police on the streets and being close to the citizen.”

The Minister for Gozo thanked Minister Byron Camilleri his commitment with regard to the Police in Gozo.
