Health authorities have advised on social media that 2 new Covid-19 cases have been detected in the past 24-hours, with, 1 patient reported as recovered, which means that there are now 26 cases currently active.

The health authorities advised that 1,152 swabs had been taken. No information has been given as to the nature of the new cases.

597 patients have recovered so far and there have been 9 deaths. The total number of swab tests taken so far is 77,033.

The first case of Covid-19 recorded in Malta and Gozo, was on the 7th of March.
