Meeting Again Through Song – is the title of an open-air concert being held next month by Gozo’s Gaulitanus Choir featuring its soloists.

The concert will spotlight its four soprano soloists Anna Bonello, Annabelle Zammit, Patricia Buttigieg and Stephanie Portelli.

This feast of song will juxtapose light classical and semi-classical numbers – some by very renowned classical composers as Puccini, Mascagni and Poulenc – with several of the best-loved musical theatre numbers.

Mro Colin Attard, the choir’s founder-director, will artistically direct the evening and will also be accompanying the singers.

The concert, organised with the support of the Cultural Heritage Directorate (Ministry for Gozo), is taking place on Thursday, the 6th of August, starting at 8pm, at the Ministry for Gozo’s Courtyard, Victoria – where the audience’s seating arrangements “will also very safely respect the social distancing guidelines,” the choir said.

Entrance is free on a first-come-first-served basis. Whereas no pre-reservations will be taken, the audience is encouraged to arrive in good time for the start of the concert.
