Health Authorities have sad that 15 new Covid-19 cases has been recorded in the past 24-hours, with 1 new recover, meaning there are now 185 active cases.

It said that the majority of todays cases “did not go to work when symptomatic 2 cases are imported, 4 form part of the Santa Venera Feast cluster, 2 are related to a cluster in Paceville, while the remaining cases are sporadic. Contact tracing is ongoing.

This means that there are 860 cases, 666 have recovered and there have been 9 deaths.

Authorities said that 1,418 swab tests were taken during the last 24-hours. The total number of swabs taken since the start being 130,165

Public Health Authorities said that anyone who needs to take a test should call 111 to set an appointment, even if they do not have any symptoms. It is to be noted that due to the large volume of calls, it can take some time to get through.

All 3 swabbing centres are open daily Monday to Sunday, including the one in Gozo.
