Mosaicist Mary Portelli of Gozo Mosaic has been very busy preparing for her latest joint mosaic and miniature art exhibition – Every Road is a River, which will be officially opened this evening by the Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri during a private function due to restriction in numbers because of Covid-19.

Every Road is a River – is an exhibition with many facets which the viewer is invited to explore.

Mary Portelli and Rabia S. Aktar bring together their diverse styles and art forms to present this intriguing collection of artwork.

Meanwhile, Rabia, a Pakistani miniature artist, presents exquisite whimsical paintings which are a treat to the imagination.

This exhibition, originally planned for last April, is finally open for viewing during the month of September and is being held at the Ministry for Gozo Exhibition Hall, St Francis Square, Victoria.

It will be open to the public from tomorrow, Sunday, the 6th of September, until Sunday, the 27th of September. Weekdays 8.30am-12.30pm, weekends and Public Holidays 10am-1pm.

“Every Road is a River, and like a winding river, the future is hazy and unclear, but ultimately wonderful in its strangeness,” the artists said. “Come and explore this idea with us….”
