As from tomorrow, Thursday, the maximum number of people who can gather in a group in public areas will be reduced from 15 to 10.

In a statement, the Ministry for Health said that this additional measure is coming into force after consultation with the Superintendent of Public Health in order to further limit the spread of Covid-19.

This means that in public spaces, groups of more than 10 people should be prohibited, including in queues and at bus stops, unless social distancing is maintained.

This measure does not apply to persons living in the same residence.
