The first edition of Mixeghla tal-Qaddisin – Lighting candles for the Saints, is taking place on Sunday, organised by the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo and with the collaboration of the Gozo Diocese.

Sunday is All Saints’ Day and this candle installation will be taking place outside every Gozitan locality’s parish church on all parapets or in squares, in honour of their Patron Saints

The public is invited to visit the Parishes, this Sunday, the 1st of November, from 6pm onwards, to witness this event which will unite Gozo as one island on both a cultural and religious background. Please observe social distancing regulations.

In case of bad weather the activity will be postponed to the following Sunday.
