Update: Two more Covid deaths announced making it four in one day

Update: The Health Ministry has reported another two deaths of patients who were positive with Covid-19, this brings it to four in one day, with the total number of victims now 69.
In a statement on Wednesday evening, the Ministry said that of tonight’s cases, one is a 63-year old man who was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on the 12th of October, he tested positive for the virus the same day. He passed away in Mater Dei this afternoon. The Ministry said that he suffered from “other chronic conditions.”
The fourth person, is an 83-year old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on the 1st of November. The man passed away this afternoon at Mount Carmel Hospital, where he was a resident and had also been receiving treatment.
Earlier this afternoon the Ministry reported that an 86-year-old man who was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on the 1st of November and was confirmed positive for Covid-19. He passed away earlier today at Mater Dei.
Another case, an 87-year-old man, was also admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on the 1st of November. He was confirmed positive for Covid-19 the following day, and passed away at the hospital earlier today.
The Ministry said that both “suffered from other chronic illnesses.”
The Ministry for Health, said that while offering its condolences to the relatives of the families, once again called on the people to continue to follow the preventive measures so that “together we can make a difference against the progression of the Covid-19.”
