Xewkija Local Council is preparing to honour distinguished citizens from the locality on the occasion of Jum ix-Xewkija.

The Council has said that this year Ms Guzeppa Pace will be awarded the Gieh Ix-Xewkija for her work carried out on a voluntary basis, which it said, “is a much deserved award.”

Ms Amy Rapa will be awarded the Hidmet Iz-Zghazagh prize for her contribution within the Xewkija Parish.

The Xewkija Local Council offered it congratulations to both winners.
