Four more people have died while being positive with Covid-19, the Health Ministry has said, with the number of lives lost to the virus now at 137.
A 75-year old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on the 31st of October, passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The second person was an 94-year old man who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 21st of November and passed away yesterday at the St Vincent de Paule Residence.
The third person was a 90-year old woman, who confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 13th of November and passed away yesterday at the Mater Dei Hospital.
The fourth person was a 74-year old man who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 16th of November and also passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the families, called on the public to continue to follow the preventive measures; wearing of masks, social distancing and hand hygiene.
