Another two people have died while being positive with Covid-19, the Health Ministry has said, with the number of lives lost to the virus now at 148.

A 64-year old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on the 20th of November, passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.

The second person was a 74-year old man who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 25th of November and also passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.

The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the families, called on the public to continue to follow the preventive measures so that we can protect the most vulnerable in our society – This includes wearing of masks, social distancing and hand hygiene.
