The Valletta Fireworks Festival is here again and once again Gozitan residents are being left out of this annual spectacular.
A couple of years ago, Gozo Channel provided a ferry service direct to Valletta harbour so that Gozitan residents could attend this event, it was the ideal opportunity for Gozitans to attend this event, no problems with parking in Valletta, less traffic on the roads to the event, and a very reasonable ferry fare.
Wy do Gozo Channel not provide the service for the Gozo residents, for this and many of the other events in our capital, surely it would be a good public relations exercise for the company to be seen to be a company that cares for the residents of Gozo!
I know of hundreds of people who would attend these events if the service was provided.
