Three more Covid deaths announced, all passed away at Mater Dei HospitalThree more patients have died while being positive with Covid-19, the Health Ministry has said, with the number of lives lost to the virus now at 177. All three passed away at Mater Dei Hospital.

The first person was a 99-year old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on the 8th of December and passed away yesterday.

The second person was a 94-year old woman who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 9th of December and also passed away yesterday.

The third person was an 86-year old man, who was confirmed positive for the virus on the 28th of November and passed away earlier this morning.

The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the families, called on the public to continue to follow the preventive measures “so that we can protect the most vulnerable in our society” – This includes wearing of masks, social distancing and hand hygiene.
