Bishop of Gozo Mgr Bishop Anton Teuma has visited the Gozo General Hospital and Downtown to visit the wards and residents that he had not previously been able to.
The Bishop called in to several of the wards at the Gozo General on Christmas night where he had the opportunity to meet and talk with the staff on duty.
During this latest visit, Bishop Teuma was able to speak to the elderly residents at Downtown using a microphone. He encouraged them to take the Covid-19 vaccine and promised to visit them again when the pandemic had passed, when he would not only be able to talk to them, but also embrace them.
Bishop Teuma also visited elderly patients in the wards of the Gozo General Hospital, and following the Public Health guidelines, he greeted patients and staff remotely.
Bishop Teuma also visited residents and staff of the Long and Short Stay wards at the Tal-Ibragg Hospital.
