Gozo SPCA has said that as it looks like car boot sales are unlikely to resume before the autumn, they are now selling books, both paperback and hardbacks, at their Centre in Victoria.

They have around 400 books available, and the Centre is open every morning 8-11am – paperbacks €1, hardbacks €2 – only one person/family will be allowed to view them at a time.

Photos of many of the books available are on the Gozo SPCA Fundraising page on facebook, and anyone is welcome to select and order from there, they can then be collected from the Centre. Other items are also advertised for sale on the same facebook site.

Gozo SPCA said car boot sales are normally a vital part of their fund raising each year. so unless they can sell items on line, “then we will be forced to cut back on our care for the animals.”

The Centre is located at the far side of the children’s play area next to the back entrance of the Aurora Theatre.
