Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo, writing on Facebook this morning, confirmed that “neither he or the Malta Tourism Authority had given the blessing for mass activities to be organised on the Maltese Islands.”
He went on to say that “the time to talk about holding these activities will be only on the advice of the Public Health Authorities.”
Bartolo concluded by saying that, “the balance between the health of the Maltese and Gozitan people, and the prospects of our country for economic recovery, remains a priority first and foremost.”
