Vodafone Malta have announced that they are giving away VIP tickets for the Moby live concert, which is taking place on the 28th of June, at Gianpula fields. Moby will be followed by the artiste Deadmau5.

Vodafone customers are invited to send an SMS to 50912500, stating why they deserve to win a pair of Vodafone VIP tickets to this event. Each SMS cost 58 Euro cents and the competition is open until midnight of the 31st of May 2009. The 15 most original answers will get two VIP tickets each for the Vodafone VIP stand at Moby’s concert. This competition is open to Vodafone mobile customers aged 16 years and over.

Moby has been making music since he was 9 years old. He started out playing classical guitar and then went on to play with seminal connecticut hardcore punk group ‘The Vatican Commandoes’ when he was 13yrs. He started dj’ing after leaving college, and was a fixture in the late 80’s new york house and hip-hop scenes.

The artiste released his first single, ‘Go’ in 1991 which is listed as one of the Rolling Stones’ best records of all time and he has been making albums ever since. His own records have sold over 20,000,000 copies worldwide, and he’s also produced and remixed scores of other artists, including David Bowie, Metallica, The Beastie Boys and Public Enemy, among others.

Vodafone Customers can also benefit from discounted tickets of €35 instead of €40. This offer is available until stock lasts.
