Three more packages containing Cannabis have been intercepted by Customs officials at Maltapost.

For the third consecutive week, Customs said that its officials at the postal office in Qormi, assisted by the Canine Unit, flagged three packages of narcotics:

The first two packages arrived from the Netherlands, where the packages were found to contain seeds, weed and white powder; while the third package, arriving from Switzerland, was examined by Customs Officials and found to contain suspicious substance, following sniffer dog Stan’s immediate reaction.

Customs said that all three cases were handed over to the Police Anti-Drug Squad for further investigation.
