Minister for Senior Citizens and Active Ageing Michael Farrugia was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital earlier today, the Ministry said in a statement.
It added that he has had tests and is currently being held for observation. The Minister had tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday and was spending two weeks in quarantine.
