The Nationalist Party has welcomed the news that Tony Debono, the husband of the former Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, has !once again been acquitted by the Court of Appeal of all the accusations made against him.”
In a statement, the PN said that “the court today confirmed that a campaign of lies had been made against Tony and Giovanna Debono, intended only to tarnish their reputation.”
The Nationalist Party concluded that it “therefore expects Prime Minister Robert Abela to apologise on behalf of the Labour Party for the character assassination campaign against Tony and Giovanna Debono, who despite the efforts of the Labour Party’s propaganda machine, he was acquitted of all charges.”

Is it true that Tony Debono had a government job?
If so, what was it?
And what did he do?
