A Memorandum of Understanding on a new Policing Partnership between Malta and the UK, has been signed by British High Commissioner Katherine Ward LVO OBE and Malta’s Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa’.
The signing was also attended by Minister for Home Affairs, National Security and Law Enforcement Byron Camilleri.
The British High Commission explained that the new Policing Partnership will “enable closer cooperation between UK and Maltese law enforcement partners in the fight against organised crime.”
It will also bring together Police Officers from both countries to share knowledge and experiences in their work to ensure the safety and security of citizens, it said.
