A 28-year old Egyptian man, a resident of Munxar, was arraigned in the Gozo Court on Friday charged with slightly injuring a person, and carrying a pointed instrument.

The man had been carrying a weapon without the permission of the Police. He was also charged with breaching the peace and with violating bail conditions imposed by the Court.

Police said that the man pleaded not guilty and was granted bail against a number of conditions.

The prosecution was led by Inspector Bernard Charles Spiteri.
