The San Lawrenz 5k Run is taking place next month, organised by the San Lawrenz Local Council in conjunction with the St Lawrence Spurs Football Club.

This event will take place on Sunday, the 21st of November and will be in aid of – Dar il-Kantuniera – a residential home which was inaugurated earlier this month in Gharb with the aim of providing new services in the field of mental health.

The event is made up of the following races/walks :

5km Run (16+)

5km Walk (16+)

2km Run (8 – 15)

2km Walk (Open all ages)

500m Run (3 -7).

The organisers said that a Covid vaccine certificate is required to participate in the event (for 12 years and older). If participants do not posses a Vaccination Certificate s/he will be required to provide a negative CPR (not rapid) test taken not more than 48 hours prior to the start of the event.

This event is being organised with the support Ministry of Gozo, Teamsport Gozo Half Marathon Team, and Athletix A.C- Gozo.
