8 new Covid-19 cases were found overnight, and 23 recoveries. The authorities said that during the last 24 hours a 69-year old man has passed away while Covid-19 positive.

The number of Covid positive patients currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital is 9, including 4 in ITU.

There have been 461 deaths since the start of the pandemic. The number of active cases in Malta and Gozo is now 204

Health Authorities said that the number of vaccines administered up until yesterday is 875,862 of which 49,953 are booster doses.
