Officials from the Gozo branch of the Foundation for Social Welfare Services met with Speaker Anglu Farrugia during a visit to the Parliament of Malta.

In his speech, the Speaker praised the work of the Foundation for Social Welfare Services (FSWS), intended to help both individuals and the Maltese family whom everyone considers to be the basic nucleus of society, despite the difficulties and realities that arise from time to time.He called on the officials of the FSWS to be ”always sensitive to all human realities. Every service should be given with a sensitive heart that cares and loves and that every action must be inspired by principles of social solidarity and love of neighbour, especially the weak and the young in our society.”

Mr. Alfred Grixti, Chief Executive of FSWS and Mons. Joseph Vella Gauci, Director of FSWS Gozo, spoke about the vision and work of FSWS in the future for Gozo.
