”As the vaccine for Covid-19 protected the public during the past months, now the booster will be protecting us during the coming months,” said Health Minister Chris Fearne on Tuesday.
Dr Fearne and PN Spokesperson for Health Stephen Spiteri both received the booster dose this morning at Marsaxlokk Health Centre.
The Health Minister urged Maltese and Gozitans to respond to the invitation when received to take the booster. He reiterated that the vaccine works and is the best weapon against this virus.
He thanked all health workers who are continuing to work together to combat this pandemic.
He also thanked the Opposition Spokesperson for Health for joining him.
Are they planning to add the date of the booster to our Vaccination Certificates? Does anyone know? Some countries want a certificate showing the last vaccination having happened in the last 6 months. As Covid 19 is not going away anytime soon I foresee we will all need boosters again……and again.
I have had a booster certificate as soon as I had it
I have tried to add the date of my booster jab to my vaccination certificate but cannot. Yes they gave you a card with the booster details on it but that is not sufficient for travel.
