The art provides an informative artistic account of birds’ migratory habits, with endangered species that frequent the islands highlighted as are the atrocities brought about by hunting, BLM said.
The artistic interpretations painted in the streets include the most colourful birds which visit Malta such as; the Kingfisher, European Roller, European Bee Eater and Golden Oriole. Also featured are species such as the Honey Buzzard, Serin, Flamingo, Garganey, Spectacled Warbler and the White Stork.
