Public Health warn all those who test Covid positive to stay in quarantineThe Public Health Authorities have issued a reminder that anyone who receives a positive PCR or Rapid Test result for Covid-19 should isolate themselves immediately from the moment they receive the result.

In a statement, the Superintendent for Public Health said that those who test positive must start a compulsory quarantine period of 14 days, this also applies to all persons living in the same residence.

In order to prevent further spread, those who have tested positive should prepare a list of contacts who were close to them in the two days before the positive test result, or from when they developed symptoms, whichever came first, the statement said.

The authorities urged everyone to accept the invitation to be vaccinated against Covid-19, while also appealing for all measures against the spread of the Covid virus to be maintained.
