Officials from the Malta Union of Teachers have held a courtesy meeting with the new Education and Sports Minister Dr Clifton Grima.

The MUT said that both parties held preliminary discussion about the education sector including its immediate and future challenges.

The Union congratulated the new Minister on his appointment and expressed its ”willingness to collaborate with him and the Ministry for the benefit of educators and students.”

The MUT added that further meetings will be held in the coming days.
