812 new Covid-19 cases have been found overnight and 240 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo to up over 13,000 at 13,260.

The number of patients requiring treatment in hospital has risen with 122 Covid patients in Mater Dei Hospital (which is the only one being reported) including 7 who are in ITU.

Authorities said there have been 479 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 227,648.
