The handsome dog above is Charlie, he has been a resident at Gozo SPCA for 5 months. He’s not a puppy, not small and not female, which sadly for Charlie, is what almost all the requests received for adoption are asking for.

Charlie is however a young dog with lots of love to give – He patiently waits and watches people come and go, but they don’t choose him, they take a different dog home, one of his friends has been lucky – again.

As much as he is loved by everyone at the Centre, surely it must now be Charlie’s turn to be chosen and have the chance of his own forever home?

He will need an active owner who will enjoy taking plenty of exercise with him. The Centre said that Charlie is either a pure breed Tal Kacca, or very close to it. He is 18 months old, chipped, neutered and vaccinated.

Gozo SPCA has advised that due to the current situation with Covid-19, its Centre in Victoria is now closed to the public, so no casual visitors please.

Therefore if you would like to meet Charlie, please arrange in advance via the Gozo SPCA facebook page and he will be brought out to see you.

The Centre is located behind the children’s playing field in Victoria, next to the rear entrance of the Aurora Theatre.
