A 71-year old woman and an 89-year old man have passed away during the last 24-hours while Covid positive, Authorities have said.

762 new Covid-19 cases have been found overnight and 1,107 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo to 14,615.

There are 127 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital (which is the only one being reported) including 6 who are in ITU.

Authorities said there have been 487 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 269,052
