There were 288 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 699 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo down to 9,509.

There are 124 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital (which is the only hospital being reported) including 8 who are in ITU.

Authorities said there have been 506 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 306,964.
