A 48-year old man from. Xaghra was grievously injured this afternoon after he fell from a ladder in Zebbug, Gozo

Police said that the accident happened at about 1 pm in Triq il-Merzuq, inside a room in a field.

Officials from the Civil Protection Department were called to assist at the scene.

The man was taken to the Gozo General Hospital where he was certified to have suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
