Two men, aged 63 and 93, and an 87-year old woman, have passed away in the last 24 hours while Covid-19 positive, authorities have said.

There were 240 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 318 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo down to 2,742.

There are 92 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital (which is the only hospital being reported) including 5 who are in ITU.

There have been 559 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday have not been updated and is still showing 332,467.
