The Office of the President has advised that President Myriam Spiteri Debono will be admitted to Mater Dei Hospital today, Saturday, the 15th of November, for a medical intervention which needs the administration of general anaesthesia.
It added that the President will be unable to fulfil her duties today. During this period, Dr Helena Dalli will be assuming the office of Acting President.
