The Superintendence of Public Health.has this morning updated its data online for Covid-19 cases dated yesterday, Easter Sunday, the 17th of April. These had not been previously published.

271 new Covid-19 cases were reported between Saturday and Sunday with two deaths also registered, but no details are given. There have been 675 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Positive cases in Malta and Gozo are now at 7,450. No information is available for hospitalisations.

There were 2,213 tests taken over the same period, making a positivity rate of 12.25%.
