A special concert featuring the La Stella Band is being organised to mark the conclusion of the programme of refurbishment at the La Stella Band Club in Victoria.

The project for the Astra Theatre and band club foyer has taken two years to complete and this celebratory concert will take place on Saturday, the 23rd of April, the Liturgical Feast of St George.

At 11am on the same day there will be a festive march with the La Stella Band, while the concert will begin at 8pm at the Astra Theatre. The La Stella Band will be under the direction of Mro Dr John Galea. The concert is free of charge.

This event is being organised in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo.
