Operatic evening at Fort Chambray for voice, horn and harp

The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra is presenting – Soirée à Chambray – at Fort Chambray, as part of its Malta Summer Festival.
Spanish Mezzo Soprano and winner of the 2015 Opera Actual Young Artist Award Carol Garcia, joins MPO Principal Harp Britt Arend and Spanish horn player José García Gutiérrez in an intimate concert featuring a sublime selection of works for voice, horn and harp in a variety of trio and duo formations.
Held in an idyllic setting in Gozo, the audience will be treated to a delightful evening, from the riveting operatic music of Donizetti, Rossini and Mozart to the intense emotion of Gounod, Strauss and Schubert.
The concert is next Tuesday, the 19th of July, starting at 8.15pm. It is free of charge however booking is required and to reserve a seat please email gozoculturalevents@gov.mt by Thursday, the 14th of July.
