The National Blood Transfusion Service would like to thank the 16 people who called to donate blood yesterday in Gozo.
The Service continues to encourage more Gozitans to please come forward – even during this hot weather – and donate much needed blood blood in solidarity with the sick and inured whose lives depend on blood transfusions during operations and treatments at the Gozo General Hospital
The Service said that with this in mind, the next session is on Sunday, the 17th of July, from 8am to 1pm at the Xewkija Clinic.
This will be followed by another session on Tuesday, the 26th of July, from 1pm to 5pm.
“As always, your cooperation and generosity are greatly appreciated and please encourage others to donate if possible,” the Service said.
The centre is located at the Xewkija Clinic, in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.
Important notes from the National Blood Transfusion Service
The Service reminds everyone that it is very important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
As usual, please wear a mask when attending the clinic.
