In the coming days, tests – geotechnical investigations – will be carried out at the site where the Marsalforn breakwater is intended to be built, the Ministry for Gozo has said.

The Ministry explained that these tests are envisaged to take place over a week, but this all depends on the weather conditions.

It stressed that “this is a crucial and important step of the ongoing application process with the competent authorities to build the breakwater.”

The Ministry for Gozo thanked the public for their cooperation and understanding and apologised in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause.
