Earlier today, Inspectors Josef Gauci and Bernard Charles Spiteri from the Gozo Police District, arraigned in Court a 29-year old Libyan in connection with a string of thefts in Gozo.

Police said that the thefts took place at Ramla l-Hamra and from two establishments in Marsalforn, from where mobile phones, cash, documents, and other various items were stolen.

The man pleaded not guilty and was granted bail under various conditions, however Police said that the accused didn’t pay his court guarantee and was therefore remanded in custody.
