Tal-Halj playing field in Nadur now has a new look with updated equipment for children and a picnic table installed by the Nadur Local Council.
The Council said that “despite regular maintenance, we felt it was time to invest in new, modern and safer games.”
The Nadur Local Council applied for funds through a scheme offered by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage, Arts and Local Government (DLG), and obtained around €15,000 to carry out the project.
The Council said that it “considers this type of investment as important and a priority, both in order to take care of what has been built by our predecessors, as well as to provide the best facilities for our children. Our work continues.”
