26 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded on the Public Health Response Team official open source database in the last 24 hours. There were no new deaths registered.

Active cases in Malta and Gozo are now down below 1,000 for the first time since the 8th of March to 937. This brings the total number of cases in the Maltese Islands since the start of the pandemic to 113,246.

No information is available for the number of Covid positive patients in hospital. There have been a total of 795 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

There were 682 tests taken over the past 24 hours, making a positivity rate of 3.81%. The Health Department said that tests carried out at home are not included in the figures.
